The pursuit of happiness...

This short animation by Steve Cutts is a great example of the "rat race" we can all recognise in our quest for happiness through the tropes and traps of modern society. In Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) we aim to become mindfully aware of our over active "drive" and "threat" systems, instead engaging our "soothing" system, compassionate motivation and compassionate mind to re-balance our emotions, and work towards a sense of inner peace, contentment and fulfilment.
