A beautiful piece by Susie Orbach on Radio 4's A Point of View show. In this episode she eloquently sets out the impact and conflicts inherent in lockdown, how this shapes and affects our emotional responses and how we might begin to hold these parts of ourselves with more compassion.
"We are not simply able," she writes, "to breathe into a difficult situation, roll up our psychological sleeves or dig ourselves in without the emotional cost of feeling constrained, nervous, watchful, touchy."
